PHOTO: 'Made From the Same Color Palette'

'Gromit' and the blufftops serve as muse earlier this year.

During the first part of January, we had some of the most beautiful weather and low tides at sunset.

What could be a better time to work on capturing the colors and reflections of our beautiful coast?

As a dog portrait photographer, I use my own guy [the photographer's dog, Gromit] for a lot of the ideas I have.

It just so happened that his colors pretty much matched those of the blufftops just south of Surfer's Beach in Half Moon Bay — which is why I titled the photo "Made from the Same Color Palette."

Great composition, Diane! Gromit looks handsome and his coat color ties in perfectly with the bluffs - no coincidence I'm sure.

Should have read the article first! "Same color..." Just responded to the image without reading!
