Samaritan House Needs Turkeys

San Mateo County nonprofit experiencing record-setting numbers of people in need.

As a result of the overwhelming turnout of 600 + households at Saturday's Food Distribution, the largest ever, the is in need of immediate donations of fresh or frozen turkeys.

Turkey donations may be brought to the Samaritan House Kitchen, 4031 Pacific Blvd., San Mateo, weekdays 9 a.m.- 5 p.m, from now thru December 23. 

Samaritan House is a private nonprofit organization providing services to help meet the essential daily needs of more than 12,000 low-income people within San Mateo County, California. They provide an interim "safety net" for individuals and families in need while ultimately helping them move toward self sufficiency.
