Accounting Technician/Administrative Assistant (AT/AA): The AA/AT is involved in the financial accountability of the assigned facility, including maintaining the accounting and financial records of the facility, accounts receivable, billing and cash handling. The employee will also provide service and assistance to the boating and general public relative to the harbor and marina environment, and will provide administrative support to the Harbor Master.Education and Experience: A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required. Candidates must have two years of experience in computerized accounting and bookkeeping/data systems. Valid driver’s license required.
Annual Range: $49,648.89 -$68,203.170

Accounting Specialist (AS): The AS responsible for accounts payable, purchasing, payroll and administrative support to the Director of Finance. Should have the ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work and meet deadlines; work independently with minimal supervision.

Education and Experience: A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and successful completion of twenty units of Accounting. Two years of Accounting work experience, or in lieu of education, five years of Accounting work experience. Valid driver’s license required.
Annual Range: $56,732.47 - $78,770.30
Accountant: The Accountant applies generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) to analyze financial data, prepare financial reports, and complete tasks. Plans and executes the District’s daily accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, financial reporting, payroll processing, and related work as required.
Education: Equivalent to a four-year degree in accounting, business, finance or closely related field. Experience: Three to five years of progressively responsible accounting experience, preferably including at least two years of local government or non-profit agency experience. Experience with Fund Balance preferred. Experience with electronic payroll processing preferred.
Annual Range: $64,658.67- $88,813.96
