Application Period Now Open for Coastside Senior Housing

Coastside Senior Housing is a brand new affordable senior apartment community located at 925 Main Street, Half Moon Bay, CA . Construction is scheduled to be completed in January 2014. This housing is for low income seniors and rents will be subsidized based on income. Applicants must meet income and qualification criteria and be 62 years or older.

Applications may be picked up from the following locations during regular business hours:

• Senior Coastsiders - 535 Kelly Street, Half Moon Bay, CA
• Coastside Adult Day Health Center- 645 Correas Street,Half Moon Bay, CA
• Coastside Hope - 99 Avenue Alhambra, El Granada, CA
• Puente – 620 North Street, Pescadero, CA

The Housing Authority will randomly select 300 applications from the pool of all completed applications submitted by the deadline. Those selected will be randomly ordered and units will be filled from this list. All remaining applicants on the list will be placed on a waiting list for units as they become available. Preference for the units will be given to persons who live, work, or have been hired to work in San Mateo County.

Developed by Mercy Housing and Lesley Senior Communities, the Building will consist of 3 floors.  There will be 39 one bedroom apartments for rental purposes on the 2nd and 3rd floors.  The 1st floor will have Senior Coastsiders and Coastside Adult Day Health Center.
