At this time, Half Moon Bay Chamber of Commerce members have pledged enough funds to make Night of Lights a reality. They were very short of the funds needed for the event, but the Chamber would like to thank all for the large and small donations to help them reach their goal.
The Chamber is a non-profit corporation and cannot afford to pay for this event plus the staff time to make it happen.
"This is a community event and the thought of not having this awesome 'small town' holiday celebration was devastating. We are happy that our members agreed," stated Chamber staff in a prepared press release.
