Midcoast Community Council Agenda for July 9, 2014, Regular Meeting, 7:00 pm

(7:00) Call to Order -- Councilmember self-introductions

1. Board of Supervisors' Report and Reports from other Government Officials

2. Public Comment & Announcements (Members of the public may speak up to 3 minutes on
any topic not on the agenda. Please fill out a speaker slip. The Council may not discuss or take action
on items not on the agenda.)

3. Consent Agenda (Items generally approved as a group without discussion, unless requested to be moved to Regular Agenda for discussion)
a. Approve Minutes for June 25, 2014.
b. Treasurer's Report for July 9, 2014.

4. Regular Agenda - The Council may take action on the following items:

a. (7:15) Midcoast Highway 1 Crossings, Left Turns and Medians (Ketcham).
Review the difference between the concept plans of the Highway 1 Safety & Mobility Studies, and the specific project elements that the current TA-funded planning grant is limited to.  Desired outcome: Council will reaffirm support for the TA-funded planning & permitting project for Highway 1 medians, left turns and crossing improvements as a near term, high priority, as we continue to work with the County on refining the design of these project elements.

b. (7:45) Pillar Point Harbor Community Priorities (Ketcham) San Mateo County Harbor District is developing a Strategic Business Plan and seeks community input on priorities for Pillar Point Harbor.
Desired Outcome: Council will approve preliminary comments to the Harbor
District for their Strategic Business Plan.
