Midcoast Community Council meeting Agenda for Wed, April 9, 2014, 7pm

Granada Sanitary District Meeting Room, 504 Avenue Alhambra, 3rd Floor, El Granada
(7:00) Call to Order -- Councilmember self-introductions
1. Board of Supervisors’ Report and Reports from other Government Officials
2. Public Comment (Anyone may speak up to 3 minutes on any topic not on the agenda. Please fill
out a speaker slip. The Council may not discuss or take action on items not on the agenda.)
3. Consent Agenda (Items generally approved as a group without discussion, unless requested to
be moved to Regular Agenda for discussion)
a. Approve Minutes for March 12, 2014.
b. Approve Minutes for March 26, 2014.
4. Regular Agenda – The Council may take action on the following items:
a. (7:15) Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District (MROSD) presentation by
General Manager Steve Abbors on the recently completed Vision Plan and the June 3
Ballot Measure AA, Regional Open Space Access, Preservation and Restoration Bond.
Desired Outcome: Informational
b. (7:45) Big Wave North Parcel Alternative. MCC hosted an informational
presentation by the Project Engineer followed by Q&A on 11/13/13. County staff
distributed the project referral to various agencies including MCC for comment 3/25 –
4/11/14. County staff expects to circulate the project environmental review document for
30-day public comment in July, followed by Planning Commission hearings in Aug/Sept.
Desired outcome: Approve initial project comments to County Planning staff.

April 23 – Presentation on rodenticides by Raptors Are The Solution (R.A.T.S.)
