100+ Tag Sales Today on the Coast for the Coastside Garage Sale

Looking for some treasures? Look no further than the Coast with more than 100 garages open for business today in and around Half Moon Bay.

Now that Montara, Moss Beach, El Granada and Miramar residents can participate in Half Moon Bay's citywide garage sale, there are more than 100 garages open for business on the coast today from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Half Moon Bay Review announced in August that they will host the Citywide Garage Sale that the city of Half Moon Bay was in charge of for the past decade, expanding the event to include the entire Coastside. It's a free event thanks to a sponsorship by Allied Waste.

The Review created a handy map, which can be viewed here, with all the garages open today using Google's Gathering Point. Just click on the number of a house and a window pops up with the address and includes other information about what's for sale. For example, at 55 Bloom Lane in Half Moon Bay, the resident is moving and lists a "sofabed, table with four chairs, recliners, paints, pots, clothes and other stuff" for sale.

According to the Half Moon Bay Review, Salvation Army will have a truck at the Ted Adcock Center after the sale for good stuff that doesn't sell. There will not be home pick up service from them. If you can't make it to the truck, bring extra items to the Goodwill in Pacifica, San Mateo or Pescadero.

If you didn't get a chance to register but are having a garage sale today, tell your neighbors about it in the comment section below.
