December of 2012 marks two trips around the sun that I have enjoyed contributing photographs of events and happenings along the San Mateo County Coast to Half Moon Bay Patch.

Thank you for all of your work Stuart. You've really captured life on the Coast for 2012 here — from the people to the wildlife — in this compilation of photos. One of my favorites is of the fisherman preparing his castnet while fishing for smelt at Redondo Beach in June. Happy New Year to you. Looking forward to more of your photos in 2013!
