And the Cutest Dog in Half Moon Bay is....

Congrats to the winner of Half Moon Bay Patch's 'Cutest Dog in Half Moon Bay' contest!

This was such a fun contest to run. We here at Half Moon Bay Patch loved seeing all the adorable dogs in the photos our readers uploaded, and it was fun keeping up with everyone's votes in the comments section. We're so glad so many votes came in, because if it had been up to us to choose the cutest dog, there's no way we could have chosen!

Thanks so much to everyone for participating!

And congratulations to Bear's "parents," Jay and Suzie Trexler, who entered him!

The "runner-up" dog was a close race between Molly and Coco, but Coco, a long-hair Chi, won by two votes. Congrats to Terri Hall who entered her!

Jay and Suzie Trexler and their adorable pooch, Bear, will receive a $25 gift card to the local pet store at 80 Cabrillo Hwy N. in Half Moon Bay, and a Patch water bottle. We thank the owner of this store for their support and, since Patch always loves to support local small businesses, we hope our readers will patronize these great stores in the future.

Jay and Suzie, please e-mail Half Moon Bay Patch Editor Christa Bigue at christa.bigue@patch.com with your phone number, e-mail address and mailing address so we can get you and Bear your prize right away!
