Crews Work to Stabilize Highway 1 at Devil's Slide
Portion of the roadway was damaged by recent storms.
Highway 1 has been narrowed down to one lane ithis morning as Caltrans crews work to shore up a portion of roadway that was damaged by the recent storms.
One-way traffic control is in effect between Linda Mar Boulevard in Pacifica and the North Portal bridge area at Devil's Slide, according to Caltrans.
Crews are working to stabilize a portion of roadway in order to prevent further erosion.

Weather permitting, the work is expected to be completed by about 3 p.m.
In the meantime, motorists are advised to allow for extra travel time or use alternate routes.
