Filoli Needs Volunteers, Opens for Season on Feb. 5

The next volunteer information day is Saturday, Jan. 19.

As Filoli gears up for the opening of its 2013 season on Feb. 5, the staff of the beautiful Woodside gardens is looking for a new crew of volunteers.

In addition to its beautiful gardens and sprawling country mansion visitors can browse anytime, Filoli is also home to special events like its annual Mother's Day Flower Show, the Jazz at Filoli concert series, the ever-popular Afternoon Tea at Filoli event, and much more.

"Volunteering at Filoli provides the opportunity to experience up-close one of the most beautiful estates in the Bay Area. You’ll also meet dedicated people while working in an environment where your contributions are valued," say Filoli reps on the website.

If you think you might like to learn more about volunteering, or sign up, the Filoli staff invites you to attend its free Volunteer Recruitment event next Saturday, Jan. 19 at 9:30 a.m.
