Have You Been to the 'SLOWCOAST'?

Enjoy a bounty of artisan products during a day trip to Davenport.

Thirty-five miles south of Half Moon Bay, life slows down just a bit more.

Davenport, long known because of its cement plant, nearby logging and once-robust fishing industry, has taken a turn for the artistic.

They call it SLOWCOAST, a community effort to promote local artists and food makers.

The SLOWCOAST store, located in an Airstream trailer parked at Swanton Berry Farm, has some amazing local items including Harley Goat Farm cheese, artisan perfumes by Libby and local art, including Bella Mare sea glass and greeting cards.

Next door, Swanton's shop (with its famous honor till) offers organic berries and homemade pastries.

Many "SLOWCOAST" products are also available online at the SLOWCOAST shop and its Esty store.
