Have You Taken Half Moon Bay's Signature Drive?

Encompassing 65 miles, the Signature Drive is Half Moon Bay's official mapped scenic automobile route. See where it takes you.

If you live on the Coast, you've probably taken Half Moon Bay's Signature Drive without even knowing it just running errands around town or getting to work, the beach, hiking trails or a friend's house.

Encompassing 65 miles, the Signature Drive is Half Moon Bay’s official mapped scenic automobile route that navigates five distinctly different micro-regions from historic Main Street, pumpkin farms and fruit stands to wineries, the Santa Cruz Mountains, redwood forest and area beaches.

The Ritz-Carlton recently put together this drive for resort guests who may request a complimentary Signature Drive map from the concierge.

"Take our Signature Drive: The most spectacular scenic wonders begin and end at the Ritz Carlton," it states on the map, which takes drivers through Main Street up Highway 92 along Highway 35 to Highway 84 through La Honda and Pescadero back onto Highway 1 heading north to the Ritz Carlton.

Suggested stops along the way include Main Street restaurants, Lemos Farm, La Nebbia Winery, Alice's Restaurant, Skywood Trading Post, Harley Farms, Duarte's, and Pomponi and San Gregorio beaches.

The route takes a few hours to drive depending upon how many stops you make along the way and of course the time of day and traffic there is on Highway 1 and Highway 92.
