Martins Beach Controversy Featured on CNN

The cable news channel explains in a 3-minute segment why community activists and a Silicon Valley billionaire are battling over Martins Beach.

A recent report on CNN features the story about community activists and a Silicon Valley billionaire embroiled in lawsuits over access to Martins Beach, a prime stretch of coastline that for generations has been open to the public.

Surfer Mike Wallace of Half Moon Bay and Gary Redenbacher representing Friends of Martins Beach are both interviewed in the segment.

Owner of the property, green venture capitalist Vinod Khosla, would not speak to CNN but his attorney released this statement: "We feel badly about the controversy surrounding Martins Beach ... but no homeowner wishes to have trespassers on their private property."
