When it comes to civic duties, what's your mission: Before moving here to Half Moon Bay, I have been involved in various support and guest roles in both grade 8-12 and Higher ED, with related efforts in starting financial foundations for both NASA Robotics, and Higher Ed Debate Programs.

What do you love about your job on the Coast: Coming from north of Seattle, for now I am just amazed with the lack of RAIN, you can actually tan here, versus rust. Above all the community has been very welcoming, helpful and fun.

What's the most challenging part of your job: Not getting sun burned, remembering to wear the sunglasses. Past that working to meet regional leadership for both non-emergency and emergency preparations of the district, along with general marketing activities for our sustainable activities.

Key services your organization does for the Coastside community: Beyond our services with both the marina in South San Francisco, and at Half Moon Bay, we also host many events for the public. This coming year will the San Mateo County Harbor District’s 80th anniversary, and there will be many festive events throughout the year that will be posted on our website for family fun.

When you're not working, what do you do to relax and enjoy life: I fly fish, and love to explore high mountain ghost towns of the west.
