Power Outage Leaves 160 Customers in the Dark

The outage was reported at 9:20 a.m.

PG&E crews are working to restore power in Half Moon Bay affected by outages this morning, a utility spokesman said.

About 160 customers are without power because of an outage reported at about 9:20 a.m., PG&E spokesman Jason King said. Power is expected to be restored there by 1 p.m.

The biggest outage was in Pacifica, where a downed wire at Carmel and Palmetto avenues left 1,120 customers without power at about 9:15 a.m.,

As of 10:20 a.m., all but 635 of those customers had their power back, he said. Power was expected to be fully restored by 1 p.m.

King said most of this morning's outages are on the Peninsula and in the South Bay.

In Woodside, an outage reported at 9:11 a.m. is affecting 400 customers, King said. Power should be restored by 12:30 p.m., he said.

No significant outages have been reported in the North Bay or the East Bay, he said.

King said crews are prepared to react quickly to any new reports of outages.
