Vision Plan Public Workshop, Saturday, Nov. 16
Peninsula Foothills and Baylands Regions
Fair Oaks Community Center - Multipurpose Room
2600 Middlefield Rd.
Redwood City
So far about a thousand people have participated in conversations about how they envision the future of open space in this part of the Bay Area. At the same time, a team of scientists has been studying current conditions that present opportunities and challenges to the kind of future people envision.
The District has used all this information to identify a range of actions to include in the Vision Plan. Now the District is convening a series of public workshops where community members will help decide which of these actions are most important. The workshops will be dynamic meetings where participants will:
- Learn about the identified actions in specific areas of the Open Space District
- Discuss priorities with other community members
- Rate the actions and see real time results showing what the community says is most important.
