Click on the "add" icon on the map and tell us where in the Half Moon Bay area your cell phone drops calls or just won't pick up a signal.

We all run into them.

Those small areas where you just can't get a signal for your cell phone, tablet, laptop or other electronic device.

Half Moon Bay resident Brian Ginna says Verizon works pretty well almost everywhere while Laura McHugh, also of Half Moon Bay, says AT&T drops her calls every time "at the top of the San Mateo Bridge and on the two lane portion of 92 leaving HMB, almost to the cemetery."

In Montara, Angela Wright Browne says she has trouble with cell phone reception at George and 4th streets passing Farallone View Elementary. What about you?

On the map, show us where these "dead zones" are located in the Half Moon Bay area and then give us more information in the comments section.

How do you deal with this problem? How should it be fixed?

We'll more stories in the coming weeks on this topic, including how many cell phone towers and antennas there are in your town as well as where they are located. You might be surprised.
