Coastal Repertory Theatre will present a new take on Charles Dickens' holiday standard, "A Christmas Carol."
Along with veteran Coastal Rep actors, young thespians from the children's theater program, Coastal Theatre Conservatory, will perform in the play.
"A Christmas Carol" is the time-honored tale of Ebenezer Scrooge, a bitter, miserly man who hates Christmas. Over the course of the story, Scrooge is visited by the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future who help him examine his life and leave him a changed man.

The play kicks off Coastal Repertory Theatre's 26th season. The show runs 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays from Nov. 17-Dec. 18.
