Travel Photography Presentation & Workshop

Come join me for a fascinating visual journey through parts of India and Vietnam.  If you enjoy travel for the sake of experiencing different cultures, traditions, landscapes, and meeting the local people, you'll enjoy seeing what this traveler has captured.

I recently returned from a month of travel through various parts of India. I split up my time between the state of Kerala in the south, and Varanasi, one of the holiest cities in the north.   I also have a collection of images from a trip to Vietnam, in particular, Hanoi, Haloong Bay, and the highland town of Sapa. 

My travelog will not follow the standard show and tell presentation, where I give you a chronologically detailed breakdown of my travels.  Instead my presentation will be a visual highlight of my journey set to music.  I think of it more as a dessert than a 5 course meal.

The presentation will be followed by a mini photo workshop.  I teach photography classes on a local level here in Pacifica.  I will field any travel photo questions and challenges you've had during your vacations.  Please bring your camera, weather it is a point and shoot or DSLR camera.  As time permits, I will cover the basics of your camera dials & buttons and explain what they do.  
I will try to cover, functions on the mode dial, ISO, white balance, flash as fill-in, continuous shooting, self timer, manual vs. auto shooting, high dynamic range (HDR), and travel photo tips.
This will be an informative evening in hopes of getting you excited about your next travel trip and being able to bring home some stunning visuals to share with your friends.
