Half Moon Bay Artist Debuts Pumpkin Festival Poster
Ellen Joseph was selected to paint this year's official Art and Pumpkin Festival Poster.
A pumpkin patch by the sea along the new is the scene depicted in this year's official Half Moon Bay Art and Pumpkin Festival poster.
Painted by local artist Ellen Joseph, the commemorative poster features Bob's Pumpkin Patch in the foreground and its barn and vegetable stand in the background, with a brilliant blue Pacific Ocean as the backdrop. Joseph painted the work in her studio from photos taken on location this summer. She just put the final touches on the painting earlier this month.
A fine artist originally from the Chicago area, Joseph has lived and painted in Scotland, Hawaii, and the countryside outside Paris. She opened her in May.
