Maker Faire Bay Area Partners With Ridejoy

Organizers say catch a carpool to avoid knuckle-whitening traffic.

organizers are encouraging attendees to carpool to this weekend's event at the San Mateo Event Center. They expect major congestion to wreak havoc on peoples' patience and have partnered with Ridejoy to alleviate that pain.

People who are looking for other commuters can connect on Ridejoy. Maker Faire fans are offering rides from as far south as San Diego to this year’s event, which, as usual, will be held at the San Mateo Event Center. Anyone can request a ride. It’s highly likely that those who offer to share the cost of fuel will be appreciated.
