PHOTO OF THE DAY: Majestic Sea Anemone
Low tides create plenty of photo opportunities.
The recent super minus tides along the West Coast were excellent opportunities to photograph marine life. The tides will be very low again in the afternoons just before Christmas.
The sea anemone pictured appears to be a Anthopleura xanthogrammica, according to my friend Suzanne Black. The picture was taken just south of Miramontes Point in Half Moon Bay.
