Chamarita Queens and marching bands from around the Bay Area joined together with Half Moon Bay's Portuguese community celebrate the 2011 Holy Ghost (Pentecost) Festival in Sunday's downtown parade. Even bagpipers from San Francisco joined in on the fun.

Hundreds of people lined Main Street to watch the procession walk from the I.D.E.S. Hall to where a mass was held to celebrate the Portuguese tradition. A roast beef cookout and rounded out the day's festivities, where beef that had been was served to the crowd.
