PHOTOS: Dickens Feast at 'A Christmas Carol'

Theatergoers enjoyed a Victorian-style spread at Friday night's Coastal Repertory Theater premiere.

A multicourse Dickens-style dinner capped off a successful debut performance of at Half Moon Bay's Friday night.

Community members pitched in to contribute dishes ranging from duck l'orange to mashed sweet potatoes to figgy pudding.

A selection of cheese and crackers was provided by the Grant family and the .

Aside from the show itself, the evening's showstopper was an intricately-decorated gilded book on display with a top hat and songbook resting on top. Made by Elegant Cheesecakes in Princeton, the "book" was completely edible and co-designed by show producer Denise Delaney. A sprinkling of cheesecake "lollypops" around the base completed the presentation.
