PHOTOS: Plein Air Painters at Higgins Canyon Road

See the latest works from Half Moon Bay's group of traveling artists.

The farm buildings on Higgins Canyon Road provided an interesting challenge to the artists at their last gathering on May 2 in Half Moon Bay. Some artists opted to paint the Johnson House.

Half Moon Bay's Plein Air Painters gather at a different location each Wednesday morning for a few hours to paint and enjoy each other's company. Each session is also a chance for painters to learn from each other.

Time permitting, the group gathers at the end of each session to share their morning paintings and talk further over lunch.

Painting locations are emailed out in advance. If you'd like to be added to the list, send an email to me at eric@ericgreenhut.com with your name.
