PHOTOS: Wildflowers in Full Bloom Along Windswept Bluffs

This week, Half Moon Bay's Plein Air Painters met at Dunes Beach.

Half Moon Bay's Plein Air Painters gather at a different location each Wednesday morning for a few hours to paint and enjoy each other's company. Each session is also a chance for painters to learn from each other.

Time permitting, the group gathers at the end of each session to share their morning paintings and talk further over lunch.

This week, the group decided to improve their chances of finding an interesting subject to paint. So they drove over to Dunes Beach off Young Avenue, where the wildflowers were in full bloom along the windswept bluffs.
