Plein Air Painters Capture the Colors of Fall at a Pumpkin Patch [PHOTOS]

This week, Half Moon Bay's Plein Air Painters met in Half Moon Bay off Highway 92 to paint pumpkin scenes.

Half Moon Bay's Plein Air Painters gather at a different location each Wednesday morning for a few hours to paint and enjoy each other's company. Each session is also a chance for painters to learn from each other.

Time permitting, the group gathers at the end of each session to share their morning paintings and talk further over lunch.

This week, the group met in Half Moon Bay off Highway 92 at one of the pumpkins patches. It was one of the best weather days anyone could ask for. We had a sunny clear sky and warm temperatures. The location attracted a large group of artists who tried to capture the beauty of the pumpkins and the surrounding hills.
