Half Moon Bay's Plein Air Painters gather at a different location each Wednesday morning for a few hours to paint and enjoy each other's company. Each session is also a chance for painters to learn from each other.
Time permitting, the group gathers at the end of each session to share their morning paintings and talk further over lunch.
This time, the group met at Pillar Point Harbor, which was buzzing with activity during the opening of crab season. Crab fishermen were loading their boats with ice and crab pots on a warm November day, prepping to go out to sea and catch crab the next morning.
Painting locations are emailed out in advance. If you'd like to be added to the list, send an email to me at eric@ericgreenhut.com with your name.
