Plein Air Painters Capture the Harbor on Canvas

Half Moon Bay's Plein Air Painters gathered at the Mavericks Beach trail last Wednesday.

There were many people walking on the Mavericks Beach trail. They were almost outnumbered by the many dogs that were running off leash. We enjoyed the company of both groups. They didn’t distract us from painting the harbor scene.

We get together each Wednesday morning to paint and enjoy one another's company. Each session is also a chance for painters to learn from each other.

Time permitting, the group gathers at the end of each session to share their morning paintings and talk further over lunch.Painting locations are emailed out in advance.
