Plein Air Painters Capture the Yellow Hue of the Mustard Field [PHOTOS]

Half Moon Bay's Plein Air Painters met at the brilliant yellow mustard flower field on the corner of Highway 1 and Main Street.

Half Moon Bay's Plein Air Painters gather at a different location each Wednesday morning for a few hours to paint and enjoy each other's company. Each session is also a chance for painters to learn from each other.

Time permitting, the group gathers at the end of each session to share their morning paintings and talk further over lunch.

This time, the group met at the corner of Highway 1 and Main Street to paint the mustard field, which was in bloom once again. The sky was cloudy but that didn’t stop the group from capturing the bright yellow of the flowers.
