Half Moon Bay's Plein Air Painters gather at a different location each Wednesday morning for a few hours to paint and enjoy each other's company. Each session is also a chance for painters to learn from each other.
On Jan. 11, we painted at Stage Rd. in San Gregorio. This was the coldest spot this winter. There was frost on the vegetation — not the best choice to paint at in the early morning before this sun comes up over the trees. No wonder some artists painted in their car!
Time permitting, the group gathers at the end of each session to share their morning paintings and talk further over lunch.
