Show Me Your Epic Burning Man Project

Across Northern California and beyond, tinkerers, dilettantes, gurus and hackers are heeding the call of the playa.

A little more than week from now, tens of thousands of desert-bound dreamers will converge in the Black Rock Desert for the annual pilgrimage of self-expression, survival, gifting and indulgence that is Burning Man. 

I want to know if you'll be on that wagon. If so, I’d love to see what crazy projects you’ve dreamt up. Transforming a golf cart into a remote-controlled space platypus with laser eyes? Welding a semi-robotic pair of flaming stilts? How about that handmade leather wedding dress you’ve been working on for six months?

Show me your art, your mutated vehicles and the gifts you plan to disperse to the hordes. For those of us who can’t make it out the playa, we’d love to see what hair-brained antics you’ve got cooked up. (Full disclosure: I'll be there riding around on this thing).

With tickets sold out and more than 50,000 participants expected this year, surely many Coastsiders will be out in force.
