Silent Stunts: Film Festival Comes to Half Moon Bay (VIDEO)

Coastside Film Society features work of Buster Keaton Friday night.

Vintage film fans are in for a treat Friday night when the Coastside Film Society presents an evening of silent film in Half Moon Bay accompanied by a live score performed by Montara resident Shauna Pickett-Gordon.

Featured at the festival will be three films starring well-known comedian, actor and director Buster Keaton: "Sherlock Jr.," "The Silent Partner" and "The Railrodder."

Pickett-Gordon will perform her piano score during the screening of "Sherlock Jr.," a film filled with stunts Keaton performed on his own (see attached video clip from the film in the media box to the right). The film has been listed by the American Film Institute as being one of the funniest films of all time.
