Popular event showcasing activities and performances takes place today from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

This weekend's "Sunday Streets" event in San Francisco will showcase activities and performances in Golden Gate Park and along the Great Highway.

The event, scheduled for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., will include the section of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive that is normally closed on Sundays between Stanyan Street and Crossover Drive. The street closure will extend west along John F. Kennedy Drive to Great Highway between Sloat and Lincoln Boulevards.
