VIDEO: Dyeing Easter Eggs the Natural Way

Watch the natural egg coloring workshop and demonstration at New Leaf Market.

On Sunday, Manuela Seitz-Hipkins of Well Kiddos sponsored an egg coloring workshop and demonstration at for children and their parents. The process uses fruits (blueberries), vegetables (red cabbage, yellow onion peel) and spices (turmeric) to create a variety of colors -- the natural way.

Well Kiddos is a Half Moon Bay-based organization which advocates to local restaurants and businesses the importance of providing healthy food choices for children. Seitz-Hipkins' workshop showed how parents and their children can put healthy living into practice this Easter.

A lunch of organic egg salad served on bunny-shaped sandwiches and jelly bean dispensers was served for children as well.
