VIDEO: Half Moon Bay Ol' Fashioned July 4 Parade

Relive this year's Main St. extravaganza.

A longstanding tradition in Half Moon Bay, the keeps the spirit of small-town America alive. This year was no different. While dozens of community and civic organizations marched down Main St., horses, goats, ducks, and joined in the fun as well.

A , , , and over Pillar Point Harbor made for a full day of celebration.

You missed the band (Half Moon Bay Marching Band that used to ride on a flatbed truck but now sits at the corner of Kelly and Main) entirely!

Sorry about that Val, it was unintentional. I positioned my camera and tripod at one spot for the entire parade so that I'd capture everyone who passed by.

Watching this reminds me of my hometown in Ohio - parades are a big part of life in these small towns. A great way for local businesses to advertise as well as entertain us. Thanks for capturing this. Your "fixed" perspective made me feel like I was right there!
