VIDEO: The Lighthouse String Band: Celtic Music on the Coast

The Lighthouse String Band, a mainstay in our local coffeehouses, is playing at the Wine Bar tonight for St. Patrick's Day.

The Lighthouse String Band is a mainstay in the local coffeehouses of Half Moon Bay where they perform all acoustic, traditional Irish and old-time American music.

On Sunday afternoons, they host a jam session and invite players to sit in. Each week, the session alternates between the on Purissma St and next to . If you play, this is a great opportunity to meet other musicians. If you are there to listen, you will leave smiling.

The band members, who all play a variety of instruments and hail from a variety of cultures, are Raymond Tsang, Mary Maguire, Dave Sahn, Robin Fish and Helen Jansson-Tsang.
