Viewfinder Photos: Love Along The Road, Guerrilla-Style
A little love for Pescadero and the coast.
A collection of handpainted hearts recently -- and mysteriously -- appeared along the San Mateo County coast. Decorated in festive colors with whimsical images and sincere messages, they dot Highway 1, San Gregorio and Pescadero.
The hearts are unsigned.
Tina McMains, a clerk at Norm's Market in Pescadero has seen them along her drive to work from Half Moon Bay, but has no explaination and says no one has come forth claiming to be the artist.
