Wanted: New Facebook Photo for Homepage Banner

Send us your best shot of Half Moon Bay and it just may be featured on our Facebook homepage.

Looking for a photo representative of Half Moon Bay and the Coast, I found this wonderful shot in our archives by Half Moon Bay Patch's contributing photographer Stuart Nafey.

It's a waxing crescent moon setting behind the Pillar Point Radar Station, featured in Nafey's article “PHOTO OF THE DAY: Crescent Moon Over The Harbor.

This photo is now gracing the homepage of Half Moon Bay’s Facebook Timeline.

However, loyal Half Moon Bay Patch users, this is your Facebook page, too. It's a place where you can comment on stories, ask questions, start conversations and post events or announcements. So, I want your opinion on what would make a good Facebook photo for Half Moon Bay’s page.

Do our open space areas best capture Half Moon Bay? Or perhaps one of our landmark buildings or pieces of public art?

Several other Patch users like photographer Deb Wong uploaded their awesome photos to our gallery, and we will rotate those onto the homepage as well.

But do you have a favorite photo that represents Half Moon Bay? Open space, wildlife, neighborhood gathering, city park, school or business event? Upload them to Patch's photo gallery, and we'll do our best to feature it on our Facebook page.
