Several cities around Half Moon Bay are without power early this morning after a power line was downed in El Granada, a PG&E spokesman said.
The power line went down at 8:47 p.m. near the corner of Solano Avenue and Valencia Avenue and left 3,550 without power, said spokesman J.D. Guidi.
The most heavily impacted cities are El Granada, Half Moon Bay, Montara and Moss Beach, and portions of Woodside have been affected as well.
The cause of the outage is still under investigation; power is expected to be restored at around 3 a.m., Guidi said.
Another outage Saturday night affected San Francisco's Hunters Point neighborhood and was repaired at 11:21 p.m.
The outage was caused by an underground cable failure shortly after 8 p.m. and affected 921 customers, Guidi said.
