Coastside House Hunt

A weekly compilation of open houses and homes for sale on the Coastside.

Many realtors will tell you that the spring buying season typically kicks off (no pun intended) following Super Bowl weekend.  With the big game this weekend, have buyers and sellers been gearing up for real estate changes also?

From what I’ve seen so far since the start of the new year - the answer is yes for buyers, and no for sellers.

For buyers, open houses are well attended and realtors’ phones are ringing. This weekend, buyers have a good selection of open houses to choose from. View a list of these open houses (in the Pacifica and Half Moon Bay Coastside area) by clicking on the document attached in the media box to the right.

For sellers, approximately one-third of the 30 new listings since January 1, 2011 are re-listed properties that went off the market last year or earlier for any number of reasons.

There are 104 single family home listings today, and 7 Active condo/townhouse listings for the Half Moon Bay Coastside.  For Pacifica, there's 69 single family home listings, and 9 active condo/townhouse listings.
