Artisan Food Fair featuring Chef Martin Yan

Celebrity Chef Martin Yan is appearing at the 3rd Annual Artisan Food Fair in the Courtyard of La Piazza. He will prepare a stir fry, offer cooking tips and sign books. Chef Yan will appear at noon.

Master Chef Yan is a television celebrity best know for his long-running television show "Yan Can Cook." He is also the author of over thiry cookbooks, including award-winning Martin Yan's Feast and Martin Yan's China.

Following Chef Yan wll be Master Pastry Chef Thomas Grauke and owner of Moonside Bakery who will prepare a delicious butter frosting and demonstrate cake decorating techniques.

The event is sponsored by kitchenware store Toque Blanche, which has invited some of its favorite gourmet food producers to present and discuss their creations. All are regional artisans or importers of artisanal foods who will provide tastings of their specialities, including chocolates. lavender, vinegars, olive oils, coffees and much more.

Vendors appearing with their gourmet products include: Little Sky Lavender (lavender), Sonoma Valley Portworks (vinegars), Bava Family Grove (olive oils), Neo Cocoa (chocolates), Yaya Imports (artisan foods from Spain), Outland Jave (coffee), Teatulia (teas).
