Half Moon Bay Coastside Chamber of Commerce Honors Locals

Businesses and volunteers recognized at annual dinner.

Evan Boyd, Bryan Jones, Julia and Jude Damasco, Andre Franco and Rocky Law, Sam's Chowder House (owners Julie and Paul Shenkman) and Nano's Yogurt Shack (owners Rebecca Seeley and Nano Kavaliku) are among the awardees to be recognized by the at its annual dinner and awards ceremony on Wednesday.

Nine awards will be presented at the event, including the Bert Carli Volunteer of the Year Award, the Bev Miller Civic Achievement Award, the Mayor's Award and the Green Business Award.

While recipients of the volunteer, civic achievement and Mayor's award will not be announced until the event, the Chamber has released the names of the other awardees.

Emceed by Assemblyman Rich Gordon, the event will also feature President/CEO Charise Hale McHugh's 2012 State of the Chamber Address, recognition of Chamber volunteers and the induction of the Chamber's 2012 board of directors.
