Local App Maker Makes a Splash in Laguna Beach

Half Moon Bay company Phondini Partners builds app for Laguna Beach featuring new technology.

The wizards at Phondini Partners have worked their magic again, coming up with an app that rolls multiple functionality into one free app.

Designed for the Laguna Beach Visitors & Conference Bureau, the app provides the current weather, tide tables, maps, and real-time local transit information.

”For the first-time ever, riders this summer will have the ability to stand at a trolley stop and see where the next trolley is in proximity to their location,” said Laguna Beach Mayor Jane Egly in a news release.

If you're looking for deals, it actually has app-only specials starting this fall. Search for hotels, restaurants, activities, and shopping. App users will also be able to view videos, bringing locations to life.

“We’re very excited to be working with the Laguna Beach Visitors & Conference Bureau and the City of Laguna Beach on this breakthrough mobile application, featuring a number of firsts in its category,” said Joe Falcone, managing partner and founder of Phondini Partners.

The free app is available from the iTunes App Store, Google Play and Amazon.
