Oh, Christmas Tree, Oh, Christmas Tree

Your guide to finding the perfect Christmas tree in Half Moon Bay and the surrounding area.

Cozzolino’s, San Mateo Road (on Highway 92), Half Moon Bay. Open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Tree shoppers will want to consider the newcomer in town: Cozzolino's off Highway 92 next door to Spanish Town at 501 San Mateo Rd. This is the second year Tony Cozzolino will try his hand at selling Christmas trees, transforming his pumpkin patch of four years into a tree lot. What makes this tree vendor so unique is that it’s the only one open at night, featuring tabletop trees to 10-foot trees as well as wreaths and poinsettias.

“It’s hard for people who work all day to go out and find a tree since most places close at 5 p.m. on the Coast” said Cozzolino. “So with the overhead lights we can stay open late and cater to people who want to look for a tree later in the day and evening.”
