PHOTOS: John Giusti Named Farmer of the Year at Annual Mel Mello Luncheon

A sold out crowd of over 300 people attended the 2011 Farm Day luncheon and awards ceremony at the IDES Hall in downtown Half Moon Bay which honored Giusti, community volunteers, and a local World War II veteran.

Half Moon Bay honored local farmer John Giusti (Giusti Farms), community volunteer Connie Whelen, former mayor Jerry Donovan and hometown war veteran Ray Martini at the 42nd annual Mel Mello Farm Day luncheon held Friday at the IDES Hall downtown.

A sold out crowd of over 300 people attended the event organized by the Half Moon Bay Coastside Chamber of Commerce and Farm Day event planning committee.
