PHOTOS: Pescadero Produces Savory, Spicy and Sweet

A glorious sunny afternoon at the Pescadero Grown! Farmer's Market.

Now in its fourth month of operation, the has expanded from offering produce to a variety of homegrown Half Moon Bay and South Coast products, whether they be savory, spicy or sweet.

Savory offerings include Harley Farms goat cheese, beetaganouj made by Aaron Dinwoodie from Tunitas Creek Ranch in Half Moon Bay, and smoked fish from Blue Ocean Smoke House in Princeton.

If you want spicy, there's homemade kim chee or hot pepper sauce available from Dinwoodie at the Tunitas Creek Ranch stall.

And to top off that sweet tooth, you can find goat's milk fudge made in La Honda by Maggie Foard along with Farm House Frosting and Buttercup Cakes' miniature cupakes and nostalgic cakes. While Davenport resident Carren Dixon bakes, her mother specializes in producing different flavors of her classic frosting recipe.

The Pescadero Grown! Farmer's Market takes place every Thursday on Stage Road through November from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m.
