State of the Valley 2013: How Does Technology Help Your Community Grow?

The annual conference looked at how innovation has and will continue to influence businesses, governments and community organizations.

The overarching theme of the State of the Valley 2013 conference held last Friday in San Jose centered around the question of how communities can use technology to plan for the future and provide better services to residents.

What do you think, Half Moon Bay? How would you like to see your local government use technology to improve your everyday life? What about a business?

Are companies like Google actually helpful to the provision of services? Can we ever go back to a time without Google? Does Facebook help you to reach and learn from your customers better?
